Accounts

Overview

The Accounts endpoint provides access to manage and retrieve information about user accounts within TaxBit's system. An account is a fundamental entity that has a set of transactions and holds specific types of assets or funds. Each account is associated with an account owner within TaxBit's model.

Available Actions

• Create a TaxBit Account: Create accounts associated with an account owner in TaxBit's system. Accounts enable sending transactions, accessing inventory details, and retrieving tax-related documents associated with these accounts.
  • To update personal information for the account owner, continue to use the update an existing user.

Prerequisites

An account owner must be created using the Create a TaxBit Account Owner before accounts can be created.
